WJD Bill White 1936-2023 Memorial Service

A Memorial Service for WJD Bill White took place at the Church of St Peter and St Paul Northleach
on Saturday 11th March at 2.30 pm.
Over 200 people attended representing many areas where Bill had significant influence. His association with
Rendcomb College where he taught Latin and English, and latterly president of the Old Rendcombian Society, spanned sixty years.

A private service and burial took place at St Peter’s Church, Rendcomb on Friday 24th February.

A Lunch Party to celebrate Bill White’s 80th birthday was held at Rendcomb College in the Reading Room
(formerly Assembly Hall, Big School) on Saturday 13th February 2016.

Having arrived at Rendcomb College in 1961, with the intention of staying for two years, Bill was proudly
associated with the College for sixty years.
